House Dodgeball Competition

The first sport house competition of term 5 saw over 90 students represent their house teams in a week long Dodgeball event.

There was some excellent skills on show and great play from all year groups starting with the year 7s, 8s and 9s who took to the court at the beginning of the week. After 9 rounds of matches it was incredibly tight in the scores with Caeli taking top spot with overall victories in the year 7 and 9 year groups before Terra secured victory in the year 8 competition.

With just two more year groups to play, the competition was still wide open and once again all year groups were in with a real chance of clinching victory. Next up was the Year 10's turn to battle it out for the win and Aqua did just that; a whitewash in their year group meant a 1st place finish for Year 10's.

Despite victory for Aqua in the year 10 competition it wasn't quite enough to put them in the top spot, meaning they remained in 2nd place behind Caeli closely in front and Terra just behind in 3rd. A dramatic end to the competition with the Year 11's saw each team pick up a victory, leading to a draw!

This meant that the overall standings for the competition remained the and Caeli took the win, adding 125 house points to their totaliser.

Aqua placed 2nd with 75 house points and Terra in 3rd with 50 house points. A huge well done to all the houses and everyone who got involved.
