As part of our Year 7 transition programme, we organised for students to take part in a two day residential trip to Kingswood, West Runton, Norfolk. Over the two days, students took part in team activities which included buggy building, crate stacking and rock climbing. 

The idea behind the trip was for students to build friendships and to learn how to work as a team.

For the Year 7 team, it provided us with a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with the students that will enable us to support the students through their first year at Charles Read Academy.
